holy sh*t but i think drag too tight is not the only reason why this sud happen also
cos if drag too tight,line can just snap...so wont fall overboard also
LOSS OF BALANCE
I think it is loss of balance.
noted that also the reel & rod was secured to the body and with the rocking of the boat plus the sudden surge of the marlin at near distance,the pull will be very strong.
I believe the drag of the reel was set to at least 20-30lbs minimun,as they are going for marlins.
